Edward VII Sovereign
Edward VII Sovereigns

Edward VII Sovereign 1907
Edward had a problem which was very similar to that of Prince Charles the Prince of Wales.
He was brought up to be King - and his mother Queen Victoria reigned for a long, long time.
When She eventually passed away in 1901 He and Alexandra were crowned in Westminster Abbey.
Edward VII was a very popular King and did much to further international relationships with oher countries.
He had a series of coins minted both in London and the three Australian Mints and apart from the Kings Head these were very similar to previous coins and Sovereigns.
An additional commemorative £ 5 piece was also minted for his Coronation and these are now quite rare.
Many of the King Edward Sovereigns are surprisingly rare in uncirculated or better condition and these are a very worthwhile investment as I think they are greatly undervalued.
There are normally several pages of sovereigns shown here.
