The Gold Coast wins hands down as somewhere to live. Many people will probably give comments based on holidaying at the GC. It's entirely different to live in the suburbs away from the tourist strip. I love Melbourne, but only for weekends away, cheap flights etc, but I'd never want to have to live there again. We go there a few times a year. I’ve lived in both places.
